The funeral of Mrs. Wilma J. Schoene of Trenton will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at First United Methodist Church in Trenton. Rev. Michael Ebersohl will officiate with burial in Trenton cemetery.

Mrs. Schoene died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1994, at Countryside Manor in Aviston. She was 94 years old.

A daughter of Lorenz and Julia Oldendorph Kuhn, she was born in Trenton on Aug. 23, 1900. On Sept. 7, 1927, she married Russell Schoene in Trenton. He died July 31, 1936.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Schoene of Trenton and Donald Schoene of Hilton Head, SC; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ms. Bertha Kuhn of Trenton.

Mrs. Schoene was a retired teacher from Trenton Grad School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trenton, Church Woman’s Club and Sunday School Teacher. She also was a member of the Trenton Woman’s Club and Clinton County Homemakers.

Visitation is at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
