Fifty-five-year-old James H. Richter of Trenton died Sept. 30 at his home.

Mr. Richter was born in Breese on June 29, 1927, the son of Bernard and Anna Zurliene Richter. He married Agatha Brueggemann and she survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joan Beer of Germantown; three sons, Ronald, Larry and Kurt of Trenton; five granddaughters; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Dierkes of Belleville, Mrs. Loretta Ahner of Panama City, Fla. and Mrs. Henrietta Hilmes of Breese; and two brothers, Rudolph and Vincent Richter both of Breese.

Mr. Richter was a member of Local 101 of the Plumbers and Pipefitters of Belleville and of the Knights of Columbus.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4th at St. Mary's Church in Trenton. Rev. Clem Dirler officiated with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation was at the Glanzner Funeral Home of Trenton.
