Mrs. Leona Richter, 67, of Breese, died Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Carlyle Health Care Center.

Born in Aviston, she was the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Gramann) Zurliene. She married Walter Richter who died Dec. 3, 1961.

She was a member of the Altar Sodality of St. Mary's Church of Trenton and the Senior Citizens Club of Trenton.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Spihlman of Trenton; a sister, Mrs. Viola Brandmeyer of Damiansville; three brothers, Lawrence Zurliene of New Baden, Paul Zurliene of New Baden and Alloys Zurliene of Highland; and four grandchildren, Cheryl Spihlman, Steven Spihlman, Diane Spihlman and Michael Spihlman, all of Trenton.

A Mass was said Thursday morning, Feb. 8 at St. Mary's Church in Trenton. Burial was in St. Dominic Cemetery in Breese.
