Mrs. Frank Richter of Breese Dies at Age 70 Saturday

Mrs. Josephine Richter, Breese, died at her home Saturday at 5 a.m. funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Dominic's Church, Breese, with Rev. Henry Aydt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Richter was born Feb. 9, 1897, at Aviston, the daughter of August and Anna (Kruep) Peek and married Frank Richter Sept. 16, 1919. He died May 30, 1956.

She and her husband had lived on a farm northwest of Breese ever since their marriage until his death 11 years ago. At that time she moved to 150 N. 3rd St. in Breese, and lived there until her death.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Lester Ahrens of Yorkville; Mrs. Agnes Harter of Brighton, Mich.; Mrs. Ervin Johnson, Mrs. Norbert Huelsmann and Mrs. Paul Tebbe, all of Breese; 28 grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Bernadine Ratermann of Highland and Mrs. Margaret Ratermann of Aviston.

The Moss Funeral Home was in charge, where the body had lain in state.

Pallbearers were Cyril Peek, August Ratermann, Paul Peek, Maurice Richter, Robert Richter, and Herb Schlarmann.
