Former Bartelso resident Mrs. Mary C. Loepker died Sunday, Dec. 8th, at Carlyle Healthcare Center. She was 80 years old.

Born in Germantown on Dec. 21, 1910, she was a daughter of August and Anna Hermeling Linnemann. In 1931, she married Herman Loepker, He died in 1970.

Four sons, Wendell Loepker of Breese, Dennis and Eugene Loepker, both of Germantown and Robert Loepker of Bartelso, two daughters, Mrs. Florence Lampe of Aviston and Mrs. Betty Deerhake of Germantown; 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren survive.

Mrs. Loepker was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Bartelso, Altar Sodality of the church, Daughters of Isabella, Germantown Senior Citizens of and Clinton County Farm Bureau.

Rev. Ted Baumann officiated at services held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Cecilia’s Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The Moss Funeral Home in Germantown was in charge of arrangements.
