Mrs. Estelle M. Kueneke, 65

The funeral of Mrs. Arthur (Estelle M.) Kueneke, 65, of Breese will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at St. Dominic's Church in Breese. Rev. Dan Jurek will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Kueneke, a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital for 40 years, died at the hospital on Monday, April 27, after a short illness.

Born in Breese on Oct. 10, 1921, she was a daughter of Kaspar and Rose M. Heimann Richter. She married Arthur G. Kueneke in Breese on May 8, 1946, and he survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Janice Suhl of Breese and Mrs. Gerene Vincent of St. Louis; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Niemeyer of Breese and Mrs. Jane Vahlkamp of Carlyle and three brothers, Raymond, Caspar and R. Joseph Richter, all of Breese.

Mrs. Kueneke was a member of St. Dominic's Altar Sodality and Breese American Legion Auxiliary.

Visitation will be at the Bruegge Funeral Home in Breese after 2:00 p.m. today (Wednesday). The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
