At a regular meeting of the Clement National Christian Temperance Union, held at Clement
Nov 26, 1878, the following resolutions were adopted:
Whereas, It has pleased our Heavenly Father to remove from this life Brother Frank
Strang, a member of this Society, who died 10 Nov, 1878, and whereas the deceased
was honored and respected by the members of this Society, and his loss sincerely mourned,
therefore,
Resolved, That we extend our deepest sympathy to the sorrowing relatives in their hour of
affliction.
Resolved, That these resolutions be spread upon our records, a copy be sent to the family
of the deceased, and a copy sent to the Carlyle papers for publication.
