Heiligenstein, Father Francis Xavier Father "X" as he was affectionately known, was an assistant pastor at St. Mary's in Carlyle in his earlier parochial years, and for many years was the parish priest at St. Augustine's in Breese IL. Many of us grade school students will always remember him for his signature "Dutch rub" (knuckles on your head!) if you misbehaved on the schoolyard! He was much loved by many. He was also as famously known for his love of his favorit cigars.Oct 18, 2011
