Herbstritt Sons of Johann Baptiste Herbstritt-Harpstrite

Left to right, photo taken before 1906. Judge Anton of Trenton, Augustus of Decatur, Charles of Sangamon, and Edward of Decatur. Immigrated to US in 1833 with their father, mother and sisters, Isidore and Maria Anna who all three women died during the cholera epidemic, arriving to Lookinglass Township Clinton County in 1844. Descendants of the HERBSTRITT ancestral family of Ettenheimweiler, Baden, Germany. Photo submitted by Marilyn Luebbers Morrison morrimar6@cox.net in 2011.
