The Jackson Cemetery is at the eastern edge of Jamestown, on the south side of the Keyesport Road and 1st Street junction. The wooded area appears to be about 3/4 acres in size, the stones are scattered over about half of that area. Most stones are broken, some only have a portion of the stone remaining. There are other unmarked native stones there that were probably used as non-engraved markers.
