This is an updated version of the earlier cemetery reading by Hilda Brueggemann, as updated by Cathy Rakers. Over 300 additional names have been added, bringing the total to over 2,400 now. About 568 of those stones contain maiden names. Many of the names and dates previously shown have also been updated. We have added Section number, Row number and Grave number to almost every record.
If you find any information, either here or in the church records, that helps you with your brick walls, and if you feel like thanking someone, it would be nice if you sent a small cash donation to the woman who has spent a large portion of her life translating these Germantown records and assisting researchers. She was in a crippling car accident a few years ago and has limited income. Her name is Hilda Brueggemann, 99 Old Carlyle Rd. Germantown, IL 62245. Just say thanks for the St. Boniface information that you found on the internet.
There are almost 2,000 photos online for the researcher. A multi-person tombstone photo is usually listed alphabetically starting with the person on the left side of the stone, as we faced it.
